What hide you there
behind that sacred scarf? Is it
a shame to share your smile?
Or is it beauty deep within
that few can comprehend?
Is it vile tools
of men who steal your sacred choice,
with dogma grim to lock
away your countenance and will?
Who robs you of your thoughts?
--Chadora by Les Blough
